Marcia Ellender

Hello, I'm Marcia Ellender, K-12 and beyond, reading specialist.  I have been positively impacting many lives with research-based, systematic phonics for thirty years.  I have taught all ages and ability levels with reading deficiencies and have seen remarkable rapid reading gains using effective multi-sensory strategies.  YouthHealth USA’s shares my vision and mission to help eradicate illiteracy in our nation by multiplying my knowledge through training teachers, volunteers, and parents with the simple yet successful methods of word-attack skills enabling others to read, pronounce, spell and write any size word. With one in four children growing up in America currently not knowing how to read, there are over 42 million adults who are illiterate. This must end and YouthHealth USA is reading NOW to equip FREE of charge an army of dedicated helpers and willing students with the tools to turn the tide in America.  Please join us in this endeavor.
